Vimeo no longer supports apps on most Smart TVs, Roku, or Fire TV. But don’t worry, you can still watch the recital on your big screen by casting it from your phone, tablet, or computer, as long as both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Device → Wi-Fi → TV
Open the Vimeo app and log in (if required).
Start playing the video.
Tap the Cast icon (looks like a screen with a Wi-Fi symbol, image below).
Choose your Chromecast or cast-enabled TV.

📱 If you’re using an iPhone or iPad:
Open the Vimeo app and log in (if required).
Start playing the video.
Tap the AirPlay icon (it looks like a rectangle with a triangle, see image below).
Choose your Apple TV or AirPlay-enabled TV.

✅ Make sure your TV and device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Open a web browser and go to vimeo.com.
Log in to your account (if required).
Start playing the recital video.
In the bottom right corner of the video, click the Cast icon (Chrome) or use AirPlay (Mac).
Choose your TV from the list.
If you don’t see your TV listed or the icon isn’t appearing:
Make sure your TV and device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Turn your TV on and switch to the correct input (if using Chromecast or Apple TV).
Try restarting your phone or computer.
Once casting is working, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the performance on your big screen, just like you're back in the auditorium.
